Cards made especially for an occasion is a good way to express heartfelt greetings to friends and loved ones. Especially if the occasion is something like Diwali
But you shouldn’t limit yourself when it comes to expressing your greetings. Although there are plenty of ready-made cards and printable Diwali greetings out there, I think your loved one would appreciate the fact that you exert effort to make a specially-made greeting card for them.

Now, here’s one example of creative home-made diwali wishes that your recipient will surely love and appreciate.

MATERIALS YOU NEED

  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Construction paper
  • Marker
  • Gluestick
  • Pencil

How to make your own diwali card: PROCEDURE

Step #1: With the use of scissors, cut out small pieces of construction paper of different colors and keep them separated on an egg carton.

Step #2: Use a black 9x12 construction paper as the card and fold them crosswise.

Step #3: With a pencil, sketch a diwali design (e.g. Rangoli design) on from of the card.

Step #4: Use the cut-out pieces of construction paper to create color to your drawing on the card and carefully glue them on it leaving a small space in between to produce a mosaic look.

Step #5: Lastly, glue a white paper inside the card and use a fine-tip marker to write your diwali greetings and wishes in it.
